The primary setting of Erathell is the Kingdom of Erathell and the surrounding nations. This region of the world has gone through five periods of time, spanning millenia, where magic has come and gone, and the kingdom has been through a long and bloody war for the Crown. For the last hundred years, an Age of Prosperity has allowed Erathell to grow in peace and stability. The Priory is keeping a tight control over magic, and the politics of the noble houses and powerful organizations is limited to struggles over wealth and influence. But when a civilization grows too complacent, new threats can grow in the shadows...
